THE 7 STEPS OF OUR MANUFACTURING
From selecting the raw materials to shipping, each candle goes through seven carefully mastered steps in our French workshop.
Selecting the raw materials
It all starts with the choice ofraw materials. We work exclusively with plant-based waxes sourced from trusted suppliers: soy wax, rapeseed wax or coconut wax depending on the product. Our fragrances come from Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, ensuring optimal quality and scent throw. The wicks, made of untreated cotton, are selected for their clean burn and their compatibility with each container diameter.
Measuring and melting the wax
Each formula is weighed precisely using professional scales. The wax / fragrance ratio is calculated for every product — nothing is left to chance. The wax is then melted at a controlled temperature, specific to each type of wax, in order to preserve its natural properties and achieve a final product of consistent quality.
Adding the fragrance
The Grasse fragrance is blended into the melted wax at a precise temperature, determined by the type of wax and the nature of the fragrance. This step is crucial: too high a temperature alters the scent molecules, while too low a temperature prevents proper blending. Our dosage, adjusted to the desired scent result, ensures a generous and long-lasting throw.
The pouring
This is the step that gives a handmade candle all its value. Each candle is hand-poured into its container: glass, ceramic jar or metal tin depending on your choice. The wick is centered by hand and held in place while the candle cools. This gesture, repeated with care for every piece, sets our craft apart from purely industrial production.
Cooling and quality control
After pouring, the candles cool at room temperature for several hours. This slow cooling is essential to avoid cracks and sinking. Once cooled, each candle is inspected individually: surface appearance, wick centering, absence of bubbles or shrinkage. Only the pieces that meet our standards move on to the next step.
Customization and packing
This is the step where your brand identity comes to life. The custom label in your colors is carefully applied to the container. The candle is then boxed, the lid added if planned, and the whole packed according to your specifications. The packaging, in your brand colors, gives yourpersonalized candle a professional and consistent presentation, ready to be sold.
Shipping
The candles are packed with the utmost care to protect the containers and labels during transport. We ship throughout France and across Europe, with lead times adapted to your needs and order volumes.
